The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 standardized some of the codes used in filing claims for health care services.
To help you relate Arkansas Medicaid’s former codes to the national standard codes, we created crosswalks—spreadsheets that list old codes and the matching new codes. Some of these crosswalks are now obsolete and have been removed. Codes are updated regularly in your provider billing manual; use your manual to find the correct billing codes.
